Welcome to Gore Counselling Centre

The Gore and Districts Community Counselling Centre Inc. provides counselling and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services to the Southland and West Otago communities. The Gore Counselling Centre is a non-government non-profit organisation with charitable status.

We provide a wide range of counselling, therapeutic and educational services including:

- General counselling and therapy
- Children, youth and family counselling
- Alcohol and other drug counselling and group programs
- Family Court counselling
- Relationship counselling
- New Zealand Transport Authority (NZTA) driver licence s65 assessments
- Workplace counselling (EAP, OCP, Vitae, etc)
- Victim support counselling
- Safety and non violence programs

We provide counselling, therapy and educational programs to as many people as possible without turning anyone away due to a lack of funds.

Many of our services are fully funded at no cost to our clients, otherwise fees are negotiable.

The Gore Counselling Centre is governed by an Executive Committee made up of volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds in the local community. The Executive is committed to the quality and delivery of counselling and therapeutic services to the community.
